Harold Hamm and Other Donors to be Honored at Foundation's 'Celebrate the Unconventional' Dinner May 4

The State Historical Society of North Dakota and its Foundation will be "Celebrating the Unconventional" at a May 4 Recognition event for friends and supporters of the expansion of the North Dakota Heritage Center. This recognition and thank you event will set the stage for a strong finish for the expansion fundraising campaign.
The honored guest will be Harold Hamm, Chairman and CEO of Continental Resources, Inc., whose unconventional life as an oil pioneer helped unlock the mystery of North Dakota's unconventional oil play, the Bakken Formation. Others will also be recognized for their leadership and contributions that have made possible the start of construction for the expansion of the North Dakota Heritage Center.
The event will be held at the Ramkota Inn, 800 South Third Street, in Bismarck, It is open to the public.
