North Dakota's governors serve as Honorary History's Trustees, playing an important leadership role by supporting the dreams of the state's history agency.

Governors Al Olson, George Sinner, Edward Schafer, John Hoeven, and Jack Dalrymple, were part of the Grand Opening Celebration of the Heritage Center Expansion on November 2, 2014.
